David Brown, CFP®, ChFC®, is co-founder of The Spectrum Planning Group, formerly Gold Coast Services, in 1994 as a retail life and health insurance agency specializing in Long Term Care and a full service financial firm offering retirement and financial planning for clients in all stages of their life cycle.
David holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Hartford, a certificate in financial planning from Boston University, and an American Bar Association Paralegal Certificate from Adelphi University. In addition, David holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards and the advanced financial planning designation of Chartered Financial Consultant®.
Today, David’s primary role is overseeing the investment and income component of the financial plans for the firm’s investment clients and acts in the capacity of Securities Principal for the firms’ offices in Florida, St. Louis, Missouri and New York. David manages assets using investment and income programs tailored to each client’s circumstances. His understanding and experience of the distribution phase of investing allows him to guide clients already in the retirement stage. |

David Meyers has been helping seniors protect their assets and income through insurance planning since 1989. He co-founded Gold Coast Services, now The Spectrum Planning Group, a financial services company in 1994, offering top service and solutions for insulating assets from Long Term Care expenses. In 1999 he was recognized by a leading LTC insurer, and was granted the opportunity to train and support hundreds of insurance agents around the country. David maintains an Insurance License in Florida as well as many other States, and a Florida Mortgage License. David’s Focus is working with our clients, their families and their advisors to make sure that life’s transitions go smoothly. |

Hedy Perper, CMPS®, CSA, holds a Certified Senior Advisor designation and was among the first people in the country to earn the coveted Certified Mortgage Planner designation, CMPS®. She has been involved in various aspects of the mortgage industry for more than twelve years. Prior to becoming a Licensed Mortgage Broker in 1997, Hedy was active in Real Estate and continues to hold a Florida Real Estate License. Today, she works with clients that understand that the mortgage is a financial instrument that can be woven into their overall financial plan. |
